The Technical Delivery Owner (TDO) is the senior most technical leader in our professional services organization and is the technology go-to-person for the customer. The TDO is accountable for success of the deployed enterprise software solution in our largest accounts. This role is primarily client facing - so great communication and experience working with customer executives is a must have.
As the owner for the architecture and technical delivery of multi-million dollar solutions for our largest clients, you effectively work as the Chief Architect of the platform. The TDO engages closely with key customers for business requirements, creating E2E scoping to fulfill the customer needs and delivering the end solution to assure customer success. The position is only a great fit for someone who takes a truly hands-on approach to solutions engineering and consulting.
Engage in technical business discussions and solution architecture with C-level executives at our largest customers and prospective clients.
Create architecture, algorithms and designs for solutions that scale to the customer’s requirements.
Maintain accountability for the technical delivery of the solution, including personally owning the resolution of the most technically challenging issues - working closely with various teams to ensure timely delivery.
Support the sales teams to drive upsell in the account by assisting in technical presentations, demos and value proposition messages.
Interface with R&D to provide estimates that match our customer needs to our products, review scope of the proposal while ensuring alignment internally and externally.
Lead a cross functional team of Developers, Consultants, System Integrators working across all elements of solution delivery.
Required Skills and Experience
7+ years of hands-on technical experience with large-scale enterprise software applications
5+ years in a client facing technical lead role - ideally in a B2B SaaS professional services organization
Successful delivery record as Technical Product Manager, Solution Designer or Architect
Excellent understanding of current enterprise software technologies and development practices/tools, including virtual environments, source control, remote development, issue tracking, build and test automation, and networking management
Computer Science or Communication Engineering graduate/ post-graduate with top marks from a top technical university.
Experience “working virtually” with teammates and customers around the world - remote work
Optional skills that will assist your application :
Experience working in telco, BSS/OSS applications
Understanding of cloud native application / cloud deployments such as public, private, etc
Experience as an architect/pre-sales for a large telco deployment at a large company
Location: We operate a fully virtual workforce management model with a work-from-anywhere office practice. As such, you can be located anywhere in the world where you can be well connected, however this role requires some onsite presence at the client's premises and travel up to 50% of the time.
Total Compensation: $100,000/year ($50/hour)
Location: Global (remote)
Hours: 40 productive hours/week
