Could you be the full-time Electrical Engineer in Astana we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to R&D Program Manager Mustafa Mussayev, and work alongside passionate and inquisitive teammates.

You'll coordinate design of a new locomotive model with the Design Authority. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Process Manufacturing, Procurement, Design etc.), ensure compliance of the final design with the local regulations and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of verifying data sheets against ГОСТ and ТР ТС, but also supporting the design team with specifications and take part in design review.

We’ll look to you for:

• To support new locomotive model design, coordinate communication with Design Authority,
• To generate ideas of design optimization related to electical cubiсles, equipment and sub-system and to master implementation of those ideas
• To provide full technical support through resolving quality, technical issues during manufacturing
• To manage technical communication with suppliers during resourcing to ensure clear understanding of technical product requirements
• To support supplier in ГОСТ norms as well as in ТР ТС 001/2015 certification
• Optimize current and propose new technical specification for electrical equipment in compliance with ТР ТС and ГОСТ norms
• Responsible for carry-over analysis (electrical product) >> What can be re-used from previous project
• Responsible of Architecture definition: Equipment cubicle content, position, pathways, break zones, etc.
• Facilitate clear communication between different parties, including Sourcing, Production, Project and Engineering regarding electrical scope of the locomotive
• Lead design reviews and deliverables reviews

• Railways Electrical engineering knowledge
• Strong approach (hands-on experience is a plus) in electrical CAD (See One / Catia EHI)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in activity
• Train systems/functions/Industrialization & Manufacturing of harnesses knowledges
• Spoken and written English is mandatory

NB! This role will require frequent business trips to India. Only apply if you are open to month-long trips.
