Experienced Associate to People and Organisation Team
Job purpose
Our People and Organisation (P&O) Practice is a one-stop-shop for mandatory compliance related to individuals, including HR compliance, Payroll and Personal taxation services.
Your key role and responsibilities:
- Performing payroll processing to external clients including:
- Monthly payroll calculations with supervision of a senior colleagues;
- Weekly Settlements for vacation and termination payments with supervision of a senior colleagues;
- Preparation of quarterly tax reporting (form 200.00) with supervision of a senior colleague;
- Quarterly and yearly statistical reporting with supervision of a senior colleague. - Following firm’s risk management and compliance procedures;
- Assisting with drafting responses to the clients’ requests;
- Oral and written communications with Kazakhstan tax authorities;
- Preferred, but not mandatory: calculation of the taxable base and individual tax on personal income, preparation of tax returns (250.00, 270.00) in accordance with the requirements of the current tax system for further review of the senior colleagues.
Knowledge and skills required
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably economic/financial);
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and 1C ЗУП 8.3
- Experienced in a similar position for 1 year is preferred (ideally other Big4 or consulting firm);
- Upper-intermediate English is a must;
- Good communication skills, organized, multitasking, result oriented;
- Desire to take a long-term position with stable and routine type of work.
