Production Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensuring technical integrity of all Production Engineering activities covering multiple disciplines: lower and upper completion, artificial lift, well interventions, production technology, well typing, etc.
• Responsible for technical oversight of all lower and upper completion, artificial lift design, remedial, workover, stimulation activities and in production management and exploitation planning.
• Responsible for carrying out candidate selection processes for to identify production enhancement opportunities.
• Leveraging all best practices and lessons learned from similar Production Engineering and field development activities.
• Identifying digital enablers opportunities including autonomous candidate selection, production operations, etc
• Identifying potential energy savings, environmental discharge practices and promoting emissions reduction
• Regularly interacting with Client management on Production Engineering (production and reservoir) and/or asset-related issues.
• Performing surveillance activities within production surveillance, feasibility studies, conceptual engineering, monitoring and analysis of production enhancement initiatives for the Asset(s).
• Transfers technology to other stakeholders and mentor young engineers.
• Preparing, contributing, implementing and monitoring departmental policies, operational processes, standards, and procedures. Contribute to the annual internal budgeting process
• Review equipment/technology using knowledge of industry best practice
• Building and maintaining relationships with key APS counterparts and stakeholders, both within APS and partners/JVs, in order to influence all matters relating to Production Engineering, field development and asset management.
• Preparing departmental statements and reports of Production Engineering timely and accurately to meet department requirements, policies and standards.
