Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Geology or related field required
• Porphyry Au-Cu-Mo, Orogenic Au, Epithermal Au and VMS deposits experiences preferred
• Familiarity with logging diamond core and RC chips preferred
• Familiarity with MapInfo, QGIS, ArcGIS, Leapfrog and Acquire software preferred
• Ability to work within a multi-national team environment
• Willing to work in the field, with no travel restrictions
• At least 6 years of experience
• Must have effective verbal and written communications skills for presentations
• Ability to produce data in accordance with international standards

Responsibilities:

• Assist with mentoring and development of young geologists and technicians.
• Evaluate or develop programs or assist geology manager in evaluation of opportunities to discover or acquire new deposits
• Recognize, promote, and implement global standard methodologies in technical deposit evaluations, geologic interpretations, 3D digital modeling, drill & assay data quality assurance/quality control, metallurgical definition sampling
• Design of delineation drilling programs, track and report weekly/monthly intercepts and progress
• Compile and validate drilling data; including assay results, downhole survey, geology logging and QAQC and other data collected during drilling
• Support diamond and RC drilling activities through drill and drill station inspections
• Geological logging of diamond core and RC chips
• Geological mapping (either digital or on paper depending on location) and sampling
• Compile mapping and assay information in 2-D or if required 3-D software and correlate it with existing models
• Supervise sample collection for accuracy & consistency, timely delivery to lab
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports
