Senior Manager of Product Development Platform

AIFC Authority is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager of Product Development Platform to support and enhance aircraft financing transactions and aviation-related legal frameworks. This role requires expertise in aircraft leasing, financing structures, and regulatory compliance to support the development of an aviation hub.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support on aircraft financing transactions, including operating leases, finance leases, and other financing structures.

• Assist in utilizing aircraft and operating lease agreements as collateral, including security interest perfection and registration requirements.

• Stay updated on domestic and international developments in aircraft financing law and regulations.

• Offer expert legal guidance on aircraft registration procedures in Kazakhstan, ensuring compliance with AIFC's legal framework and the Cape Town Convention.

• Develop concepts related to aircraft registration, leasing agreements, aviation training, and attracting leasing companies.

• Initiate and promote legislative changes to enhance the legal framework for aircraft financing and registration.

• Collaborate with governmental entities and industry experts to develop and amend aviation-related legislation.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with governmental entities involved in aviation regulation and promotion.

• Engage with key aviation stakeholders, including airlines, lessors, and financiers, to promote the AIFC aviation hub.

• Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations and reports on various aviation topics.

Qualifications & requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university (Master’s degree preferred).

• Strong knowledge of English law and international civil aviation law, including the Cape Town Convention and its application in Kazakhstan.

• Experience in working with governmental entities and promoting new products from a legal perspective.

• Prior experience in aircraft financing and registration is preferred.

• Fluency in Kazakh, Russian, and English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
