AIFC Authority is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Expat Centre to lead and oversee the delivery of essential government and non-government services to foreign investors, employees, experts, and their families. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the seamless integration of foreign nationals into the local ecosystem while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of services such as visa and migration services, taxpayer registration, relocation support, and other related offerings for foreign nationals and their families.
  • Ensure compliance with state standards, policies, and technical requirements while providing services to Expat Centre clients.
  • Optimize and oversee front desk operations, ensuring efficient, smooth, and professional service delivery.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and external organisations to ensure seamless and timely service provision.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns effectively, providing suitable solutions and following up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Oversee proper management of records and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information with regular analysis.
  • Stay updated on evolving visa regulations, immigration laws, and other legislation impacting foreign nationals in the AIFC to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in International relations, Translation, Law, Social science, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree or relevant certification will be an asset.

Professional background

  • At least 3+ years of experience in customer relationship management and/or migration law expertise.
  • Strong understanding of Migration Regulations of Kazakhstan.
  • Excellent skills in creative problem solving, diplomatic influencing, and relationship building.

Language proficiency

  • Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
  • Knowledge of Chinese will be an advantage.

Computer skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).

Personal qualities

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • High level of responsibility and reliability.
