Electrical project engineer

• Managing the power distribution scheme, obtaining technical conditions, collaborating with subcontractors for engineering surveys (such as geological, topographical, and flooding surveys), liaising with design institutes, and coordinating state and private technical expertise. Additionally, overseeing the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), managing subcontractors for electrical equipment supply, preparing renewable energy projects for grid connection, conducting tests, and providing support to the construction team throughout the construction period, overseeing the land acquisition process etc.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience in Electrical Design according to KZ (GOST) standards
• Design of Low Voltage (LV) Electrical Design (0.4/1 kV) – lighting, lightning, power supply, heat tracing, etc.
• Design of High Voltage (HV) Electrical Design (10/35/110/220 kV)
• Design of Electrical Substations
• Design of Electrical Transmission Lines (110kv, 220kv)
• Knowledge of CAD software is mandatory (AutoCad, Microstation etc.).
• Project engineering / coordination experience.
• English language is mandatory!

Preferable requirements:

• Construction of Renewables projects (Wind, Solar stations).
• Understanding of load flow, short circuit currents, simulations software’s e.g. ETAP, Digsilent or others.
• Understanding of secondary systems (Relay protection, telecom, SCADA, ASKUE etc).
• Work experience with Grid operator / Regional electric companies.
