Manager to Legal team (Almaty/Astana)

Job purpose:

Manage and deliver ongoing legal consulting projects for external clients from various industries, active participation in business development; manage and coordinate team of consultants

Role and responsibilities:

• Building new and develop existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business;

• Providing legal advice to clients in different areas

• Participation in projects with other departments/service lines (e.g. Tax, Consulting, Assurance) and coordination of different teams

• Train staff, review and evaluate their work

• Manage multiple clients, budgets and production goals.

Knowledge and skills required:

• University degree (Legal); LLM degree (UK or US) is advantage

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a lawyer, including industrial legal practice (corporate, M&A and general commercial practices) preferable in MNCs;

• Experience in international law firms/ Big 4 is advantage

• Evidence of ability to see and take advantage of opportunities, as well as win work

• Good knowledge of English (written and oral) and fluency in local language

• Proficiency in IT literacy

• Excellent project and people management skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team, capability to lead projects (& teams) with minimum supervision

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent problem solving skill

• Proactive personality
