KPMG's Strategy and Operations group in Kazakhstan is looking for a Business Analyst to join our Financial Services (FS) team in Astana. As a Business Analyst, you’ll leverage data to empower our banking and financial clients with strategic insights, optimize product offerings, and contribute to their business growth.

As a Business Analyst, you will:

• Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytical models and forecasting tools.
• Provide deep insights into banking products, customer behavior, and market trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics into business strategies.
• Drive data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.
• Present complex analytical findings to clients and stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.

You’re a great fit if you:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. highly preferred).
• Have at least 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles within banking or financial services.
• Are proficient in data analytics tools like SQL, Python, R, or SAS and visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Possess advanced statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and financial modeling skills.
• Understand banking products, financial instruments, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills in both Russian and English.
• Have certifications such as CAP, CFA, ACCA, or other data science credentials (preferred).
