Deloitte is seeking a Senior to join its Financial Advisory Services Department Business Valuation Group in Almaty or Astana.
Deloitte’s Financial Advisory group provides strategic and financial services to clients through every phase of the economic cycle. We offer services in all the critical areas - from corporate finance, transactions, business valuations, debt restructuring services, finance raising, etc. - with a focus on helping clients add value to their business.
The business valuation group provides extensive experience in valuing, modeling, and analyzing business interests and their underlying assets, including real estate, fixed assets, intellectual property, and complex financial instruments, unlocking their value in the marketplace.
Qualifications:
- Project management, preparation of reports and commercial proposals;
- Participation in client and internal meetings.
- Higher education/diploma from leading CIS or Western universities in Economics and/or Finance
- 4+ years of working experience in assets valuation, business valuation and financial modeling.
- Higher education/diploma from leading CIS or Western universities in Economics and/or Finance.
- CFA / ASA / ACCA certification and/or MBA is an advantage.
- KZ state appraiser license is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of Income (DCF), Market and Cost approaches to business valuation (BV) and strong ability to apply the knowledge in BV projects.
- Solid understanding of Cost (DRC) and Market approaches to assets valuation and ability to apply the knowledge in assets valuation for IFRS purposes.
- Strong analytical skills and general business knowledge.
- Ability to operate in a multitasking environment.
- Availability to work overtime.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
- Practical working knowledge of MS Excel and the ability to structure and build financial models.
- Practical experience in report writing and preparing business plans and presentations using MS Applications.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong command of spoken and written Russian and English (ability to express your thoughts clearly in Kazakh language is an asset).
Responsibilities:
- Managing business valuation projects.
- Participate in assets valuation for IFRS purposes.
- Negotiations with clients.
- Build financial models in MS Excel.
- Prepare valuation reports and business plans using MS Applications in Russian and English
