- Collaborates in research by working with students, staff, faculty, and/or other partners; - Conducts research effectively by maintaining accurate records of experiments and analyses performed, conducting relevant literature searches, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all current methods of experimentation; - Supervises, trains, and mentors graduate and undergraduate students on applied science experiments and procedures in a laboratory environment; - Contributes to the development of new projects and grants by conducting literature searches, experimental research, and proposal writing; - Contributes to the dissemination of knowledge gained through research by preparing and publishing findings and presenting findings in meetings with partners and at scientific conferences.

Control of Projects

- Documenting current production procedures and create Company standards; - Collaboration with TCO WFP Team which manage the process to develop constraint-free detailed packages of work; - Application of Procedures TCO: APP, CWA, CWP, IWP for Steel, concrete, and reinforced concrete structures; - Control of Module Integration activities on Stacking and Staging area, CVX|PM – Chevron Production Management System; - Identify and implement continuous improvements to the production processes; - Collaborate with QC to identify and implement ongoing quality improvements; - Develop and implement production processes for new products, product enhancements, and product changes. Install related fixtures and tooling; - Develop and implement enhanced production testing of products; - Minimize overall production costs while maximizing productivity; - Collect, analyze, summarize and present production and process data, information, and trends to management; - Create and maintain accurate and current documentation of tool drawings, design concepts, and orders, following the Product Development and Quality Assurance functions; - Support process engineering change notice and related Material Review Board activities; - Assist in the Test of building materials and evaluation of returned materials/products; - Review internal operational facility layouts for process improvement; - Estimate staffing requirements, production times, and relative costs to provide data for operational decisions.

- Develop, update and maintain for cash call, Management of Change and reporting; - Manage and support the Systems Completion Contractor by providing the tools, training and direction to effectively manage the contract in terms of cost and payment control; - Identify capital efficiencies for the project, track, implement; - Interfaces across all disciplines and contractor to reconcile and consolidate up-to-date cost information to prepare the yearly Work Program and Budget; - Reviews and understands the Systems Completion contract, work releases and subcontracts in line with the established provisional sums, commitments, control budgets and baseline schedule; - Prepares and delivers monthly cost reports and dashboards for review, approval and management presentation; - Administer the Payment Application and Certification process; - Ensure completeness and timely delivery of Project Controls related documentation to the Finance and Central Controls team; - Interface with Contracts and Procurement; - Interface with Project Engineers, Scope of facilities and other relevant area documents. - Interface with Planning to assist in cost forecasting and phasing; - Open Book, Unit price, Lump Sum contracts.

- Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects; - Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in planning stages and risk analysis; - Compile and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies verifying that projects comply with various regulations; - Perform or oversee soil testing to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations; - Test building materials, such as concrete, asphalt, steel, for use in particular projects; - Provide cost estimates for materials, equipment, labor; - Use design software to plan and design transportation systems, and structures in line with industry and government standards; - Perform or oversee, surveying operations to establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction;
