Field electrical engineer on shift basis in East Kazakhstan region, Aktogay village, Aktogay GOK expansion project. My duties included: 1) Organization of the workflow a) project study b) constant visits to construction sites c) searching for not finished construction and installation works, based on design drawings and site visits, such as pulling low-voltage, high-voltage cables, laying cable trays, installing power transformers, installing switchgears, disconnecting cables. 2) Work planning a) drawing up a three-week plan in Primavera software (three week look ahead schedule) b) distribution of workers to job places c) calculation of work performed in man-hours 3) Drawing up a list of missing material for construction and installation works. a) Monitoring of remaining materials in all warehouses b) Search and selection of materials such as copper bars, hardware of all sizes, cables, unistrats, trays, conduits, copper grounding pins in the catalogues of the respective sellers. c) Verification of incoming commercial offers 4) Implementation of input control of equipment a) visual inspection to check defects b) check of all accessories 5) Monitoring the correct drawing up of a work permit for construction and installation, as well as commissioning. 6) Organization of the removal of the necessary materials and equipment, from warehouse for construction and installation works. 7) Completion of check-lists C0 and C1 for construction and pre-comissioning works. 8) Using the RETOM21 in order to load the circuit breakers with 3x and 10x nominal current, and record the CB operation time. 9)Megohmmeter test for isolation resistance in LV and HV cables 10)Pre-Commissioning work on launching crane beams, fans, ore grinder, drainage pumps, gate lift. 11) Checking LOTO (Lockout-Isolation Procedure) as well as work permits during pre-commissioning.
